Cheer Coach of the Year
We are excited to award the COACH OF THE YEAR AWARD
to all classifications including Junior High/Middle School coaches.
The UCTCA will be awarding a Cheer Coach of the Year Award at the 2025 State Cheer Competition
to one UCTCA member coach from each of the following classifications
1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A, Jr High/Middle School
Cheer coaches put in countless hours supporting the school, sports teams and their community; and many teams compete at
local and national cheer competitions as well. The UCTCA Coach of the Year Award is designed to recognize and honor a
cheerleading coach for their excellence in leadership, motivation, and inspiration.
The nominee must be a current member of UCTCA and be in good standing to be considered as a Finalist.
We are looking for coaches that…
Are hard working and dedicated.
Run an organized and well-respected program.
Support school athletic teams.
Encourage their team to generate school spirit.
Motivates and inspires their team.
Conducts them self in a professional manner
Balance the demands of supporting school athletic teams as well as competing at local or national cheer competitions.
Are current members of the UCTCA and in good standing with the Utah Cheer Team Coaches Association.

Letters of Recommendation and Biography are due Monday December 9th, 2024
If a cheer coach is nominated, they will be contacted by email and asked to fill out a nomination packet containing a short questionnaire and biography and 2 letters of recommendation.
